You have welcomed in the 2020 New Year but amongst all the partying, have you had time to sit and reflect on the year that was?
I don’t make new year resolutions but I do reflect and give thought to questions such as the ones below…
What gave you the most joy?
What would you do differently?
What worked well?
Did you deal with things that needed attention or did you sweep them under the carpet?
What do you want to achieve in 2020?
What events are coming up so you can prepare for them?
Why do I do this? Because I am grateful and love my life. I love all the hats I wear – wife, mother, friend, sister, aunty, professional organiser; I love the fact that I can open my world to new things and not be afraid; I want to continue being the best version of myself I can be and give inspiration to all of you that I connect with.
So, don’t make it hard on yourself and commit to a new year’s resolution that you may not see through. DO however, reflect and make a note of things you may want to change or do better.
I sincerely wish you all a Happy New Year and hope that your 2020 brings you much happiness and you open yourself up to all the new opportunities that come your way.
