Organising on a Shoestring Budget
I’m one of those Professional Organisers who likes to use what clients may already have around the home as organising tools, before I suggest that they go and spend money on fancy storage boxes and containers.
So, you know what I am talking about, here are some ideas:
- Shoeboxes; perfect storage for crafts, cables, recipes
- The empty plastic milk bottle; pen and pencil holder, drawer organisers, paint brush holder
- Glass jars – use them in the bathroom for your cotton face pads or as tea light candle holders
- Mobile phone and tablet boxes; these are great sturdy boxes for drawer or desk organising; wrap them in coloured paper for present giving or use as jewellery boxes
You don’t have to spend a fortune on organising tools and storage, there are so many ways you can repurpose things you have lying around. So, if you were wondering if you can organise your home on a shoestring budget, the answer is a definite YES!
